I have two sons, 6 and 10. I had an issue as I tried to teach them some aspects in religion. Besides, we live in Europe and there are many basic principles of religion that they don’t go through. However, MashaALLAH, Sheikh Omar was able to deliver these information too smoothly and it stays in their heads. Also, class time with Sheikh Omar is very important to them. They leave everything in hands just to attend. May Allah reward him and make it among his good deeds.

Sheikh Omar is simply the best. He is amazing with kids specially when he's telling them the Stories of the Prophets (Qisas Alanbiya). My daughter impatiently awaits her weekly lessons with him.

The best choice I have made for my son Omar was that I subscribed to the weekly Quran Lessons with Sheikh Omar Shalaby from when he was 4 until he turned 13. He is so attached to Sheikh Omar, because kids get really attached to him and his unique way of delivering any religious information with the simplest way. They did not only memorize the Quran with him, they have learned everything that has to do with religion, good manners, ethics and being involved in charity work to teach them the real manners of Islam. Thank you, thank you Sheikh Omar! You are the best role model to the kids, it is sufficient that my son would not sleep unless he listens to your Quran recitation. We are amongst the very first people who started having lessons with Sheikh Omar via the internet for the kids. All Praise be to Allah, Sheikh Omar was more than excellent as he was able to make the kids learn the assets of Islam despite living in the West. It is enough to see the trust the kids have in you, and when they have a question or don’t understand something, they will run right to you while being assured that you will understand them and reassure them with the right answer. May Allah keep you for them and may you accompany them until you take each other to Jannah inshAllah.

My son has been attending lessons with Sheikh Omar for 3 years now. The lesson is very entertaining and beneficial, and Sheikh Omar’s way of teaching is simple and makes the delivery of information easy for the kids. Teaching Islam is wide and includes manners, worship, stories of Prophets and the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, besides the explanation and memorization of the Quran. Kids are always interacting during lesson time, and they have a space to self express freely. They disagree and ask many questions without being afraid of it, and this is all because of the beautiful relationship they have with Sheikh Omar, along with his friendly spirit and easygoing character with the kids.

Sheikh Omar has a huge ability to communicate with kids and youth. He is capable of simplifying the information and explanation of the Quran to each age group. My sons are in multiple age groups and he is able to explain to them the same stories and verses of the Quran based on the understanding capacity of each of them. He also communicated with the kids in different ways which makes them love him and love the information he is providing them with. For them, he is a trustworthy person who they get back to if they need to understand anything. My sons love him a lot and consider him as a role model.

Sheikh Omar has had a huge impact on my son; understanding manners and notions, not only in the explanation of the Quran, but also in Islamic doctrine and right Muslim’s manners. All thanks and appreciation.🙏🏻

Among the best things that happened to Adam was his weekly attachment to Sheikh Omar’s lesson where he learned the assets of his religion, his good manners with people, how to pray, Ramadan’s charity such as food boxes and meals. Sheikh Omar is dedicated to making the kids understand the meanings of the Quran, not just memorizing them. My two sons have started lessons with Sheikh Omar for more than a year. My son started when he was 7, and honestly, he was a bit lost at the beginning. After a couple of lessons, I found him attentive, interacting and participating. He gets really excited when he shows the Sheikh a painting and the Sheikh pays attention to it and appreciates it and tells him it’s beautiful. I find him and his sister coming to me and telling me that they are going to say a certain Thikr a certain number of times because Sheikh Omar told them to do so. They always come to me with many stories to tell. When one kid of the group was sick, Sheikh Omar told the kids to make a video for him to cheer him up, this taught them to be one man at heart.

I am Hamza Saleh’s mother; he is 11 and he has been attending lessons for around a year with Sheikh Omar Shalaby, may Allah reward him. I feel a huge difference in my son; it started with his admiration to attend the lesson, and being committed to it, despite that he is still a kid and he doesn't love commitment. This was my proof that Sheikh Omar is very close to kids, motivates and supports them which made them love the lesson. He made a difference with my son specifically in prayers; I have been trying to make him committed to prayers for years, All Praise be to Allah, he has changed completely. He is now performing the prayer with love and does it on his own without me having to tell him to do it a million times.

Sheikh Omar’s presence in the time of growth and teenagehood of my son has added a lot to him. Nowadays, it is so hard for kids to be attracted to religion classes, but Sheikh Omar did that balance; kids respect him, are friends with him, he talks about day to day topics which they need to understand and learn about themselves and their religion. Besides, every month, there is dedicated play time, far from lessons; they have time to play football! He was able to touch kids’ hearts and minds. They now consider him as an elder brother, whose words are trusted and advice is realistic and beneficial.

Honestly, the most respectful and elite way on all personal, human and professional levels. He has been there for us a lot during Rahma’s illness and the accident she has been through, and he asked all his friends and family to make a lot and a lot of Duaa for her. He has not missed a single chance to be there for her during her illness by supporting her faith and her mental psychological and mental health. Truly, the best Teacher, and the mere proof is that girls wait eagerly for class time. For them, it is like an outing and an enjoyable time, not an obligation. Unfortunately, in France, we could not find any place or anyone who can help them love the religion and introduce it to them in a simple way that helps grow their passion and love towards the religion. Honestly, we owe him a lot, and we are so lucky because they are his students and siblings. On the other hand, and on the professional level, there is nothing better than that. He succeeded in making my younger daughter into religion, after she has completely rejected attending classes at the masjid because of the rudeness she has encountered there. He was able to make things easy for her and make her love religion. She now waits passionately and happily for class time. Honestly, and based on experience, no one is better than him.
